L\u2019historien Meinrad Suter a travaill\u00e9 huit ans \u00e0 son ouvrage \u00ab Die Thur und das untere Thurtal in den Kantonen Z\u00fcrich und Thurgau \u00bb [La Thur et la vall\u00e9e inf\u00e9rieure de la Thur dans les cantons de Zurich et de Thurgovie]. Sur 604 pages, Suter esquisse l\u2019\u00e9volution de la Thur au fil du temps de Weinfelden \u00e0 Flaach : de sa naissance \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque glaciaire aux travaux d\u2019am\u00e9nagement et de rectification de la rivi\u00e8re. Une importante partie de l\u2019ouvrage est \u00e9galement consacr\u00e9e au projet \u00ab Protection contre les crues et paysage alluvial \u00bb sur lequel renseigne le centre nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
